Plastic Films and Scraps
We recycle many different kinds of plastic film, both printed
and unprinted. Rolls are the most acceptable form but we can accept slitter
trim if it contains just one type of polymer. We also recycle drool, purges
and plastic scrap from coating and extrusion lines. Mixed polymers are
extremely hard to recycle unless they can be easily separated or can be
melted together for low end applications like plastic lumber.
We can also use homopolymer film scrap (LDPE,
HDPE, PET) if it is on clean bales or on rolls. Simply send us a small sample (one square foot or more) and we will get back to you promptly.
Key Benefits to Recycling Films
Lower your disposal fees
Generate income
Pricing
The value in film recycling comes mainly from a reduction in your solid waste
disposal costs. Most types of film scrap have a scrap value, but it is usually
fairly low. Send us a sample of your material (one square foot is adequate) and we
will evaluate it and call you with a price. Be sure to
include a business card with your samples.
In all cases plastic scrap must be kept clean and free of other materials. Please feel
free to call us with questions on plastic recycling.
