Aluminum Foils and Laminates
We purchase plastic and paper laminated aluminum foil and trim
scrap from all segments of the packaging and recycling industries. LDPE,
HDPE, PET, Nylon and Paper laminates are all recyclable. These materials are heated in an oxygen deficient reactor
which converts the polymer to flammable gas and recovers the aluminum in a
granular form.
We can pick up scrap anywhere in North America or you can ship to our
Ansonia, Connecticut receiving facility. Our
minimum pick up is 10,000 lbs and up, but you can deliver smaller amounts to
our receiving locations.
Bales, coils, cut sheets and edge trim are acceptable and
can be shipped together on the same trailer.
Heavier loads command a better price, as it reduces our freight charges, and
we pass the savings back to you.

Pricing
Foil scrap is valued on the recoverable metal content. Generally we pay for
material with a metal content of 30% or better. The higher the metal content,
the better the pricing. The same holds true for copper laminates. Send us a
sample of your material (one square foot is adequate) and we will evaluate it
and call you with a price. Be sure to
include a business card with your samples.
